A building in downtown Dickinson that sat empty for a couple years has reopened thanks to some former North Dakotans In this weeks edition of Around Town Brad Feldman shows us a new place serving something you cant find anywhere else for miles Open Wine It takes a special dish to accompany this fine glass of wine How about some Hawaiian Waahoo This is one of the many unique meals you can find at the Brickhouse Grille in Dickinson Collin Wehner BrickHouse Grille All of our beef is cut fresh We get 21 day age minimum angus beef quarter inch trim on the top Seafood is flown in We order it one day and get it the next day about ten eleven in the morning so it s fresh never frozen Wehner a native of Dickinson is the executive chef at the restaurant He was going to school at an art institute in San Diego for culinary arts when he got the idea to move back to North Dakota and open his own fine dining restaurant While looking into this plan he found out another couple was looking into the same idea and same building the former Rattlesnake Jenna Vondrachek Brickhouse Grille So we combined forces from California and Colorado and here we are what we like to consider is the finest and freshest dining available and a very good addition to the community The BrickHouse Grille will continue offering something new They plan to change the menu with the seasons However one thing will stay the same the atmosphere Jenna Vondrachek BrickHouse Grille nice relaxing dining experiernce You can dress it up or dress it down something for everyone In Dickinson Brad Feldman KX News A couple weeks ago The BrickHouse Grille featured shark on their menu Wehner says the restaurant was packed each night they offered the item on the menu The Brickhouse Grille also offeres a martini bar with many different flavors to choose from
